Why we give back
MLD Services has been a Leander business since owner Michael Dodge founded it in 2009 — our technicians live in the same neighborhoods we serve. Community involvement isn’t a marketing line for us; it’s the same principle as our repair-first promise: take care of the people around you and the rest follows. Here’s some of what that looks like in practice.
CASA Golf event with the Leander Fire Department
MLD was proud to sponsor the Leander Fire Department in the annual CASA Golf event. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) has served abused and neglected children in Texas for almost 40 years, providing trained community volunteers for every child assigned to the program through the court.
Leander Police Department backpack drive
As part of MLD’s community involvement initiative, we partnered with the Leander Police Department and donated backpacks for their annual backpack drive for underprivileged kids heading back to school.
Community clean-up with Partners in Hope
We were also excited to volunteer for a community clean-up project with Partners in Hope — an independent, collaborative ministry focused on eliminating social isolation in Central Texas by connecting people with a network of neighbors who can provide the physical, emotional, and spiritual help they need.
