1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This Privacy Policy describes how MLD Services LLC, doing business as MLD Services (Mechanical, Logistics, and Design) ("MLD Services," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website at https://mldhvac.com (the "Site") and the heating, cooling, indoor-air-quality, and related residential and light-commercial HVAC services we provide (collectively, the "Services"). It applies to information we handle as a business; it does not apply to third-party websites or services we do not control.

By using the Site or our Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide to us

• Identifiers and contact information — name, telephone number, email address, and service or mailing address — submitted through our contact, request-service, estimate, scheduling, financing-inquiry, or review forms.
• Service details — information about your home or property, equipment, the problem you are experiencing, and your service history with us.
• Careers / employment information — if you apply for a job, the information in your application, resume, and any materials you submit (for example, work history and qualifications).
• Communications — the content of messages, emails, form submissions, reviews, and (where applicable) notes from phone calls you have with us.
• Financial information for transactions — we do not collect or store credit-card or bank-account numbers on this Site. Payments and financing are handled by independent third-party processors and lenders under their own terms and privacy policies.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, and timestamps, collected through server logs and similar technologies.
• Cookies and similar technologies — small files and identifiers used to operate the Site, remember preferences, and (where enabled) measure traffic. See Section 6.
• Security and anti-spam data — our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent abuse, which involves data collection by Google. See Section 8.

2.3 Information from third parties

We may receive information from our service providers (for example, hosting, form, and analytics vendors), from review or mapping platforms when you interact with our listings, and from publicly available sources. We combine this only as needed to provide and improve the Services.

3. Sources of personal information

We obtain personal information (a) directly from you when you contact us or use the Services; (b) automatically from your device and browser when you use the Site; and (c) from third-party service providers and publicly available sources as described above.

4. How we use your information

• Respond to your inquiries and provide estimates, scheduling, and quotes;
• Provide, perform, and follow up on HVAC service, installation, and maintenance;
• Process job applications and evaluate candidates;
• Communicate with you about appointments, service, billing, and support;
• Send marketing or promotional messages where permitted (you may opt out at any time);
• Operate, maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Site and Services;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and agreements.

5. How we disclose information

We disclose personal information only as described here. We disclose to the following categories of recipients:

• Service providers / processors — vendors that perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting and infrastructure, form and lead processing, security and anti-spam (e.g., Google reCAPTCHA), analytics (where enabled), email/communications, payment processing, and financing. They are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
• Professional advisors — accountants, attorneys, and insurers, as needed.
• Legal and safety — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests and legal process, protect our rights, property, and safety, and that of our customers and the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
• With your direction or consent — when you ask us to share it.

6. Cookies, tracking technologies, and your choices

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the Site and remember your preferences, and analytics technologies to understand Site usage. You can control cookies in two ways: (a) through the cookie choice banner shown on your first visit (choosing "Decline" turns off analytics and advertising cookies for your browser, and your choice is remembered on return visits), and (b) through your browser settings (including blocking or deleting cookies). Disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC automatically: when your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for that browser or device, and advertising-related cookies are disabled without any action needed from you. Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, we treat a valid GPC signal as the operative opt-out signal.

7. Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure and improve Site performance. These services use cookies and similar identifiers and may receive your IP address and usage data. Analytics cookies respect the consent choice you make in our cookie banner (Section 6) and any Global Privacy Control signal your browser sends. As of the July 2026 network audit, only Google Analytics 4 was observed loading.]

You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising or sell personal information to advertisers.

8. Google reCAPTCHA

Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish humans from automated abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.

9. Your California Privacy Rights — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This section provides the disclosures required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA"), and serves as our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" notice.

Categories of personal information we collect

• Identifiers and contact information — name, phone number, email address, and service address, when you submit one of our website forms or contact us.
• Internet or network activity — device, browser, IP address, and Site-usage data collected through Google Analytics 4 (loaded via Google Tag Manager) and through Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms from abuse.
• Commercial information — details about the services you request or purchase from us and your service history.

Do we sell or share your personal information?

No. MLD Services does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA or under comparable laws. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. Analytics cookies set by our website could be considered "sharing" under some readings of the CPRA if advertising tags are later enabled; the opt-out below always applies regardless.

Your rights and how to opt out

• Right to opt out of sale/sharing — use the cookie choice banner on this Site (choose "Decline"), or enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we honor GPC signals automatically, with no account or login needed.
• Right to know / access, right to correct, and right to delete — contact us using the details below and we will verify and respond to your request within the time required by law.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will never deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to know / access the personal information we hold about you;
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
• Right to delete personal information, subject to exceptions;
• Right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information and, where applicable, of certain profiling/targeted advertising (note: we do not sell or share);
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights;
• Right to appeal a decision on your request, where provided by law.

California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA. If and when you provide your mobile number and expressly opt in to receive text messages from MLD Services:

• Consent is express and not a condition of purchase. We will only text you after you affirmatively opt in (for example, by checking a clearly labeled consent box or texting a keyword).
• Program scope. Messages may include appointment confirmations, service updates, and — if you opted in to marketing — promotional offers.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out anytime by replying STOP; reply HELP for help, or contact us at 512-528-4258.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS consent and the mobile information collected for it are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

12. Children's privacy

The Site and Services are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — including to provide the Services, maintain records of work performed, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and warranty obligations — after which we delete or de-identify it. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the applicable legal requirements.

14. How we protect your information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your own account and device credentials confidential.

Payment security

This website never collects, transmits, or stores payment-card or bank-account numbers. There are no card-entry fields anywhere on the Site. Financing applications are completed on Synchrony Bank's secure, hosted application page, and payments for completed work are handled off-site by our payment processor — in each case under that provider's own security controls, terms, and privacy policy. Because no cardholder data ever touches this website, the Site itself is outside the scope of PCI DSS cardholder data requirements.

15. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites and services (for example, financing partners, manufacturers, review platforms, or mapping providers) that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those third parties; we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
