The AVV is the air handler York builds for its premium communicating systems. Its variable-speed, constant-CFM ECM blower takes instructions directly from communicating outdoor units like the YXV and YZV and delivers exactly the airflow the system asks for — which is the difference between a 20 SEER2 system that actually performs at 20 SEER2 and one that only says so on the sticker.
