YORK® product
YORK® Hx™3
The Hx3 zoning system lets one York system heat and cool different areas of your home independently — upstairs bedrooms and a downstairs living area stop fighting over a single setting. Paired with two-stage or variable-capacity equipment, each zone gets what it needs without over-conditioning the rest. We'll tell you honestly whether zoning or a ductless head serves your problem room better.

YORK® Hx™3
The Hx3 Communicating Zoning System lets one York system condition up to eight zones independently — upstairs bedrooms, a downstairs living area, a bonus room over the garage — each with its own target, each fed exactly the airflow it calls for. The classic two-story Texas problem of an upstairs that roasts while downstairs freezes is precisely what this solves.
The system pairs a 4.3-inch color touchscreen main controller with any mix of zone sensors and secondary thermostats, motorized dampers (any 3-wire, 24V open/close damper works; a bypass damper is optional), and the Hx app for phone control with geo-fencing and home/away modes. Matched with two-stage or variable-capacity equipment, each zone gets what it needs without over-conditioning the rest of the house.
Zoning done badly creates airflow problems, which is why ours starts with a duct assessment. And an honest flag: for a single problem room, a ductless head is sometimes the cheaper, better fix than zoning the whole system — we'll tell you which one your situation actually calls for.
Every install starts with a free in-home assessment and a flat written price — no surprises. Call 512-528-4258 or request service online.

From the field
Owning this system in Central Texas
Good zoning starts with damper placement and a bypass strategy, not the controller — our quote includes the duct assessment that decides both. Once running, resist the urge to set wildly different zone targets; 2–4 degrees of separation between zones is the sweet spot for comfort and equipment health.
Use the geo-fencing and away modes: an eight-zone system that setbacks unoccupied zones automatically is where the energy savings genuinely accumulate. We configure the schedules with you at commissioning so the system's intelligence works out of the box.
