YORK® product
YORK® PCE4
The PCE4 is a single-stage 14 SEER packaged air conditioner — the whole system lives in one outdoor cabinet, which is the standard answer for homes and light-commercial buildings without indoor equipment space. It's the value tier of York's packaged line. We install and service packaged units across the Leander corridor, including rooftop light-commercial applications.

Factory-authorized
YORK® PCE4
The PCE4 is York's standard-efficiency packaged air conditioner: 14 SEER / 11 EER cooling and optional electric heat, with the entire system — compressor, coils, blower — factory-assembled, charged, and tested in one outdoor cabinet. Where there's no indoor space for equipment, packaged is the answer, and this is its value tier.
Everything arrives in one piece and needs only power, duct, and condensate connections, which keeps installation simple and repairs accessible — every component is reachable from outside the building. Single- and three-phase models cover both homes and light-commercial spaces, and field-installed electric heat kits complete the heating side.
We install and service packaged units across the Leander corridor — slab-mounted residential and rooftop light-commercial alike — and quote flat-rate after verifying the application in person.
Every install starts with a free in-home assessment and a flat written price — no surprises. Call 512-528-4258 or request service online.

Who this model fits
- Buildings without indoor mechanical space — slab-built homes and light-commercial suites.
- Budget-first packaged replacements where the existing curb or pad is reused.
- Landlords standardizing on simple, serviceable equipment.
Warranty
- York: 10-year parts limited warranty (with registration).
- MLD Services: lifetime workmanship warranty — if our install or repair work ever fails, we make it right.
York's extended warranty terms require online registration within 90 days of installation — otherwise parts coverage reverts to 5 years. We register every unit we install as part of the job, so you never have to think about it.
From the field
Owning this system in Central Texas
Packaged units live outdoors year-round, so cabinet care is real maintenance: we check panel seals, curb/pad condition, and coil cleanliness at every visit — a leaky panel gasket on a rooftop unit quietly conditions the outdoors on your bill.
For light-commercial owners, the practical win is service access: everything is reachable without entering the space, so repairs don't disrupt business hours. Keep the unit's electrical disconnect and filter access clear of stored material and every visit stays short.
Deciding between the PCE4 and the PCE6 comes down to runtime: a space cooled forty-plus hours a week repays the 16 SEER two-stage upgrade quickly, while a lightly used building rarely does. Bring us last summer's electric bills and we'll put the crossover point in actual dollars, not efficiency percentages.
