The TM9V is the premium workhorse of York's furnace line: 96% AFUE, ENERGY STAR certified, a two-stage burner, and a variable-speed premium ECM blower with ClimaTrak climate tuning. When homeowners ask for "the good furnace without going all the way to modulating," this is usually the answer.
The two-stage burner covers most Central Texas heating hours on quiet low fire; the variable-speed blower ramps smoothly, holds rooms even, and improves summer cooling airflow and humidity removal all year. Wired as a communicating system with the Hx3 control it self-configures, reports faults, and integrates with zoning.
Hot-surface ignition, LP convertibility, an integrated diagnostic module, and the compact 33-inch multi-position cabinet complete it. York backs the heat exchanger for life on registered units — and our own workmanship warranty covers the install for the life of the system.

Owning this system in Central Texas
Run it communicating if your budget allows the Hx3: the TM9V self-reports blower performance and fault history, which converts vague comfort complaints into specific fixes. On conventional wiring it's still an excellent two-stage furnace — you're leaving diagnostics, not comfort, on the table.
Its variable-speed blower is the quiet MVP of your cooling season: matched with a two-stage AC it runs low and long, wringing humidity out of July air. When we quote a TM9V we're really quoting a year-round air-delivery upgrade, and we'll show its effect on both seasons' performance.
Where it sits in the line: the step down (TM9Y) keeps the efficiency but loses the variable blower; the step up (YP9C) adds full modulation at a real premium.
