YORK® YPLC
The YPLC is York's most comfortable 80% AFUE furnace — the Affinity modulating burner and variable-speed ECM blower from the flagship tier, in a non-condensing furnace with a low-NOx burner. It exists for homes that want modulating comfort but have venting, space, or emissions requirements that keep them in the 80% class.
Modulation means the burner adjusts continuously in small increments rather than stepping between low and high, holding temperatures remarkably flat while the variable-speed blower whispers along. ClimaTrak tunes the behavior to your local climate profile, and high-level self-diagnostics with fault codes make service visits faster.
Like all modulating equipment it depends on commissioning quality: we set it up against York's spec, verify combustion and airflow, and — when it's wired communicating with the Hx3 — walk you through what the control reports so the diagnostics work for you, not just for us.

York's extended warranty terms require online registration within 90 days of installation — otherwise parts coverage reverts to 5 years. We register every unit we install as part of the job, so you never have to think about it.
